1. RPG Realm is a friendly community, meaning no flaming is tolerated. Whether someone was "J/K" or not when someone posts any form of an insult will
be decided by the admins. If severe enough your post will be deleted and you may be temporarily or permanently banned. Admins may also decide whether or not
the flame was in self defense and/or gauge the intensity of the flame.
2. No advertising is tolerated outside the "Advertising" forum. People who advertise in any other forum will have their post edited (to something extremely degrading) and possibly be permanently banned.
3. Although the profanity filter has been removed excessive crude language will not be tolerated, RPG Realm is not a bar and because is a open forum wants it to be appropriate for most ages. We will neither tolerate, nor approve the use of multiple images that display such profanity.
4. I realize that it is hard not to spam, (create meaningless posts that are difficult to reply to) but please try your hardest to suppress it. 1 word replies and similar spam will be deleted in any forum other than the "Spam" forum (in which you can post whatever random nonsense you want). Even though the main forum is entitles "Chat" it is not a chat room to be used for one word replies.
5. Do not "bump" (reply to topics to get them to the top of the topic listings) topics that are on the last few pages on that specific forum.
6. Do not ask for a custom title until you are prompted to, usually the message
"Ask For Custom Title" will read after you've garnered 1250 posts or the status of Golden Nu, this is when you should ask. Also second and third titles are usually an award, as such requests for them will be disregarded.
7. Do not ask to be a moderator or admin in any forum, please private message the admins for such requests (be prepared for a "no".)
8. Do not stray off the topic of discussion in any of the forums, all posts that do stray off will be deleted. Please use good judgment within the Serious Discussion Forum; keep it meaningful/serious. And when debating someone it is very easy to get offended, so keep debating and flaming separate.
9. Although very self explanatory please do not use any sexist or racist comments in reference to anybody. (Inside or out the forum). These will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
11. No double posting (tossing in replies after you've already made a reply), period. Mods and Admins will delete any two of one post. As for need to reply differently to your reply, please Edit your post. If not, the Admins and Mods will delete the others and edit it into your first, along with a reminder on this rule.
12. Absolutely no Pornography of any kind.
13. You absolutely may not fill up a whole page of a forum with your own topics. I don't care what forum it's in, this is not allowed at any cost.
14. Signatures have become a big deal these days, the rule is, it can be 700 Pixels Wide, at the most. As for height: as long as the next post and previous post can kind of be seen without the need to scroll its fine. We accept most sigs, unless a member is offended by it, (for some of its possible connotations) and if they are offended, it will be addressed by the admins/mods. If a mod or admin asks you to remove your sig, please do, but if you wish not to remove it you can choose "don't use a signature" as your default signature.
