This topic has probably been done here before or close to or something, but anyways... what is the first game that you (can remember) beating in your life? For
me, its kinda hard to remember since I've been playing games since I was 3 or younger, but I know it was a Super Mario Bros game. I'm pretty sure its
Super Mario Bros for the NES, but I also remember beating Super Mario Bros 2 & 3 around the same time, so I can't really remember which one.

I'm thinking Link to the Past or Mega Man X. Not really sure. Maybe Secret of Mana?

Probably Earthbound or Chrono Trigger or Super Mario RPG. Final Fantasy VI?
I'm leaning towards either EB or SMRPG. EDIT: First game ever beaten is also very technical, for example, I can remember making it the whole way to the end of the FF6 and getting stuck at Kekfa's Tower, or beating all 8 bosses in Megaman 2 or 3 and not being able to get the whole way through Wily's castle, or getting stuck in Super Mario Bros. 3. So I saw most of those games back then even if they weren't entirely "beaten". WANT TO ROLL HIM AROUND A BIT? NO, NO, IT'S OKAY. IT IS ABSOLUTELY SAFE, AFTER ALL. |

Hmm, it may have been Super Mario RPG for me as well. I know that was one of the first I beat, along with Link to the Past. I'd have to lean on one of
those two. They were great games.
 And yeah, I'm the same. I don't beat a lot of games.

Did you do that thing in Tetris where you hold the A button or whatever while selecting level 10 and you get level 20? We used to do that just to see how long
we could last (my dad could last much longer than the rest of us).

this is actually the first time i've heard about that.
my grandpa was the king of tetris though, so he had every level unlocked before i touched the game. he would play the fastest level (with the trippy music mind you) and never lose. guy's a legend imo. |

Yeah there's something about old people and Tetris where it's like it's the only game they play and they're actually good at it for some
unknown reason. Also it may have been speed 19 but anyway somehow or other you could get it at that speed pretty easily.
My father was also a legend at Ogre Battle but that is a tale for another day. Well okay long story short he beat it at least 50 times and got the best ending about 30 of those times. Relied entirely on in-game info to do everything (the guy doesn't know how to use a PC, much less GameFAQs). Then when he tried to play OB 64 he couldn't figure out the controls and wouldn't play it very long. Also doesn't know how to work a VCR but that is a tale for another day. Well okay long story short the man doesn't even know which remote control goes to the VCR. WANT TO ROLL HIM AROUND A BIT? NO, NO, IT'S OKAY. IT IS ABSOLUTELY SAFE, AFTER ALL. |
